The Ensemble Dress is a versatile, beautifully draped style, crafted from a soft organic cotton double cloth. The twisted back detail creates a soft drape, while the side split adds ease and movement. The shoulder darts through the shoulder create shaping. Designed for a standard fit, it features a shell button opening at the neck. This midi-length dress can be worn alone or styled over your favourite tee.

Organic, Fairtrade, certified cotton forms the base of our garments along with a considered collection of trims and buttons chosen for their natural and recyclable nature, making Kowtow garments completely plastic-free. Our organic cotton is grown using non-genetically modified seeds, sans harmful chemicals.
Every Kowtow piece is made to last. And with a little care, they’ll live even longer. To ensure longevity and minimise the impact on the environment, we recommend only washing your garment when necessary - air or steam to refresh between wears.

All our materials are chosen to be at one with nature, and are validated by industry bodies as best-practice. We use natural buttons - responsibly sourced from agoya shell, mussel shell or corozo nut, helping to avoid using zips which can add waste and complexity to the circularity process.

Since 2006, we’ve been on a journey to remove all plastic from our clothing. Pushing beyond industry norms to source, prototype and scale natural alternatives. Today, 100% of our clothing is plastic free.

Renewable cotton
Grown using non-genetically modified seeds, sans harmful chemicals. Meaning it’s honest, organic, fully Fairtrade. Small lots are planted alongside food crops to promote soil fertility, biodiversity, and feed local farming communities.

Fairtrade from seed to garment
Fairtrade certified since our inception in 2006, every part of our supply chain is traced from seed to garment. Independently audited and certified by the Fairtrade Labelling Organisation International (FLO), it ensures farmers are paid fairly, while working to improve sustainability, governance, inequality and community development in surrounding communities.

We make with nature
We a natural single fibre for every garment we make. Grown using non-genetically modified seeds, sans harmful chemicals. Fairtrade organic cotton is used throughout, from interlinings, wadding and labels to the thread that sews each piece together. Meaning it’s honest, organic, fully Fairtrade.

Repurposed swing tags
Made from card formed from a by-product of our fabric offcuts, and connected with organic cotton cord.

Conscious colour
Our organic cotton is coloured using certified inks and dyes. Making it free from chlorine bleach, toxic heavy metals, formaldehyde and aromatic solvents. Retaining a natural fibre that’s breathable, durable and easy to care for.
